O Laboratório de Ecologia e Conservação (LABECO) foi fundado em setembro de 2013 nas dependências do Instituto de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal do Pará, campus Guamá, na capital Paraense, Belém.
Nosso principal objetivo de pesquisa é compreender os padrões de distribuição da biodiversidade no bioma amazônico, avaliando principalmente os mecanismos que afetam esses padrões e como as mudanças naturais ou causadas pelo por atividades humanas podem afetar os organismos.
Discovery LABECO
The Laboratory of Ecology and Conservation (LABECO) was founded in September 2013 at the Institute of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Pará, Guamá Campus, in the capital of Pará, Belém
Our main research objective is to understand the distribution patterns of biodiversity in the Amazon biome and, in particular, to evaluate the mechanisms that influence these patterns and how natural or human-induced changes may affect the organisms.
